Completed Travel Plans

Twenty-one and growing.
That’s the number of Resource Center Partner schools that have created SRTS Travel Plans since fall of 2009 with assistance from the Resource Center. The Travel Plans include a 12-month activity calendar for Education, Encouragement, Enforcement and Evaluation activities, as well as recommendations for physical changes to sidewalks, roadway crossings and trails leading to their campus. The new SRTS Safety-focused Reports provide short-term infrastructure projects to increase safety for students walking and bicylcing to school, along with programmatic recommendations for safety education.

All are available to view, download, or print. Just click on the school listed below.

Or, check out or new map to see where we've completed travel plans.
Hover over the blue dot to see the community name, then click to see which school and view/download the plan.

The Resource Center expects to work with more Partner schools and communities during the 2016-2017 school year to develop travel plans.  Two types of assistance will be available:  Assistance to develop a Comprehensive SRTS Travel Plan OR to develop a shorter, Safety-focused SRTS Report.

More information about this assistance and to learn which type of plan is better for you, see the Travel Plans and Reports web page under What’s Happening.
