The Georgia Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Resource Center is collecting student transportation data from all of the GA SRTS partner schools twice per year.  Student transportation data includes the number of students that walk each day to school and the number that walk from school, the number that ride a bicycle to school and from school, the number that ride the bus to school and from school, the number that ride in a car to school and from school. The easiest way to do this is to simply contact your SOC and report mode information. It's easy. Use this survey for a quick and easy way to submit the information. Or email it directly to your SOC. Your school may also receive a phone call from your SOC asking for information. Thanks, in advance, for your cooperation!

This data is important to the Georgia Department of Transportation in tracking student modes and trends in transportation. It can also be used in pursuing grants and pursuing opportunities for infrastructure improvements. We ask for the data in the fall and again in the spring.

As an incentive, schools that submit student transportation data will be eligible for incentives for events throughout the year. Plus, all schools that submit data are designated BRONZE or higher level partners. Get your data in today!
