Friends of SRTS

A community partner from Camden County shows families a walk and bike route map at a school open house.

SRTS Friends are community partner organizations and stakeholders that want to support more children walking and rolling to school. There’s no cost to join the GA Safe Routes to School Friend Network, and there’s no obligation to provide any goods or services. We are building a network that can provide direct support for schools and their communities to make walking and bicycling safer and more accessible. And the SRTS Friend Network includes

  • State, local, and regional government agencies
  • Community organizations
  • Law enforcement agencies
  • Child Advocacy groups and organizations
  • Bike/Ped Advocates
  • Healthcare and public health organizations
  • Businesses
  • Individuals
